One-year Instructor of Engineering Technology Management beginning August 16, 2016 Requisition #010440
One-year, nine-month Instructor faculty position to teach on the Spartanburg and/or Greenville campus.
One-year only instructor, nine-month, Engineering Technology Management with teaching, course development, and service expectations. Candidate will teach and develop upper-level Engineering Technology Management courses including Engineering Cost Analysis, Engineering Teams Theory and Practice, Project Management, and System Decision Making. Office hours to be maintained in Greenville and online. Evening availability required (6:00 to 8:40 pm two nights per week).
Required: Master's degree in Engineering, Management, Business, or in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Engineering, Management, Business, or in a related field required. Successful background check is required.
Preferred: Ph.D in Engineering, Management, Business, or related field with two years of industrial experience and prior teaching experience. Prior experience with traditional and online teaching, course and curriculum development, is highly desirable. Expertise in one or more of the following areas is desirable: cost analysis, systems decision modeling, project management, and team management.
